Sarahosh is a cloud-based building management platform designed to digitize and simplify the daily operations of residential and administrative complexes.

The platform brings building financial management, charge collection, resident communication, maintenance requests, document management, facility reservations, and online payments into a unified system.

It provides a web-based management panel for building managers and a mobile-friendly experience for residents, with support for PWA installation.

One of the main parts of Sarahosh is its financial management system.

Building managers can manage monthly charges, income, expenses, invoices, unit settlements, payments, and the shared building fund from a centralized dashboard.

The system also provides financial reporting and PDF exports to make the building's financial information easier to review and present during annual meetings.

AI & OCR

Sarahosh also integrates artificial intelligence into building management workflows.

The Smart Receipt Scanner uses OCR and AI to extract information from payment receipts, including:

• Tracking number.
• Bank information.
• Payer information.

The extracted information is then prepared for manager verification instead of being automatically accepted.

The platform also includes an AI building assistant that can answer management-related questions, structure maintenance reports, and provide faster access to management workflows.

AI-assisted financial analysis can also help with budgeting, debt reminders, late-payment calculations, and financial reporting.

Resident Experience

The resident-facing experience is designed around simplicity and mobile usability.

Challenges

One of the main challenges was combining several traditionally separate building-management workflows into a single platform.

Financial management, resident communication, maintenance, reservations, documents, payments, and notifications all require different workflows while sharing the same building and user data.

Another important challenge was creating an experience that works for both building managers and residents. Managers need access to detailed financial and operational information, while residents require a much simpler mobile-first interface.

Integrating AI into financial and administrative workflows also required a controlled approach. AI is used as an assistant for extracting and analyzing information while keeping important decisions under the manager's control.

Outcome

Sarahosh transforms traditional building management into a centralized digital platform.

The project combines full-stack web development, financial management, resident communication, payment workflows, maintenance management, PWA technology, and AI-assisted automation into one product.

The project demonstrates experience in building complex business applications, designing role-based workflows, managing financial data, developing mobile-first interfaces, integrating AI/OCR capabilities, and deploying production-ready software.
